The 宅男福利社 Foundation has received notice of a $3 million planned gift that will support student success and academic enrichment. The planned gift from a donor who wishes to remain anonymous is one of the largest in the University鈥檚 history.
鈥淲hereas the donor wishes to remain anonymous, which we certainly respect, we want to acknowledge the tremendous generosity this planned gift embodies,鈥 said 宅男福利社President Ken Tucker. 鈥淚t is a remarkable demonstration of support for our institution鈥檚 mission, and it serves as a reminder that what we do is important and positively changes lives.鈥
The planned estate gift, when fully realized, will include property with vast opportunities for recreational and conservation initiatives that align with several existing programs and plans at the University.
鈥淭his visionary donation will enhance the University鈥檚 capacity to provide an exceptional student experience, especially in the areas of property, forestry, and wildlife management, as well as conservation enterprises,鈥 Tucker said. 鈥淲e are extremely appreciative of such a meaningful contribution which promises to significantly impact our students, and indeed the entire region, in perpetuity.鈥
The 宅男福利社Foundation is the non-profit organization formed in 1995 to support the University through private fundraising. The Livingston Legacy Society recognizes donors who support the University through a will or trust.
